Galileo Galilei Sadly no longer available. Galileo explains the maths of Pendulum’s which he discovered aged 17, how he measured the acceleration of falling objects before watches were invented, and discovered how cannon balls fly and the Maths that governs it all and lead to Newton’s Gravity. He shows how his ideas help us design Fairground Roller-Coasters, and how his friend Johannes Kepler worked out the path of planets around the sun and how he improved telescopes. We might
add that he does not mention his discourses with the church, although
if prompted, he explains that he understood fully why the church could
not possibly accept ideas that did not tally with the bible's teachings,
and how he tried in the most diplomatic of ways, to offer his scientific
discoveries as options worthy of consideration.
