“TALES OF BLOOMING SCIENCE” (2001 - 2002)
As had become usual, on seeing “Tales of Maths and Legends” the controllers of the DFEE’s Science Year immediately commissioned “Blooming Science” for Science Year 2001. Continuing the story of Science from Newton (where Tales of Maths left off) it featured Von Guericke, Watt, Davy and Faraday, Brunel’s Maidenhead Bridge, the rhymed story of Edison and Swan’s light bulbs, and songs including “IKB”, “My Atomic Theory” from Dalton, “The Origin of the Species” from Darwin, Mendel and Rosie Franklin and title song “Tales of Blooming Science” |
