"The enthusiastic approach and inspirational presentation of Johnny Ball is unsurpassable" - Radio Times

Johnny's visits to schools and colleges - hundreds over the years - always leave both students and staff with a new understanding and enthusiasm for Maths and/or Science.

He works with equal frequency for high flying schools achieving special status and for those who may have problems due to location or special needs.

He adapts his talks specifically for the audience in question and works to students of all ages from 9 years upwards (and occasionally below 9). He will speak to audiences of any size, provided their is a clip on mic and adequate amplification. He talks for up to 90 minutes and can respond to specific requests from the host school, and also in response to the audience's reactions, at every turn.

He frequently addresses smaller 6th form groups, undergraduates and students on training courses, e.g. Teacher Training, in many areas.

He can produce specific lectures - he lectured on Dalton 2003 and Priestley 2004 in celebration of their bicentenaries, Einstein 2005 and Brunel for 2006.

The lectures are a starting point; the students will want to develop the ideas discussed in the weeks following their time with Johnny, and teachers should have no difficulty in following his leads.
