“TALES OF MATHS & LEGENDS” (2000 - 2002)
On seeing “Let the Force be with You” the DFES immediately commissioned this show and it formed the centrepiece of the opening of Maths Year 2000, at the Critereon Theatre, London, with Blair and Blunkett guesting on Stage for national TV. A huge success, it SOLD OUT across the country, and played to over 200,000 including 4800 in one day at the Mayflower in Southampton. The show included: “We Three Greeks of a Grecian Age” (covering the invention of automatic doors, the bagpipe, the steam engine and levers) The story of numbers and Zero, with “What is it? It’s Nothing” “I Think, therefore I Am” from Descartes “Get your Pencil Out, Write it Down“ and “One of the Tales of Maths and Legends”. |
